Some tracks are so weird, that they can neither be fit into a regular release schedule, nor an appropriate b-side be found.
For these black sheep we have decided to create a small niche on Connaisseur Supérieur. The CNSS Black Edition will sporadically present tracks that are way out of our usual categories…
With “Numb”, Daso finally opens his “Pantera’s” box and again proves his ability to rock reeeally hard. The track actually consists of two seperate tracks whose combination has proven itself during several of Daso’s live performances. It is the transition between the two tracks that makes the crowd go mad.
The clonky intro (already published on Ware Records as Mud Max – Zampone (Maderfotor Rmx)) morphs into a giant breakdown with perhaps familiar sounding spoken words before it suddenly reincarnates as a ravey monster from hell!
Numb shouldn’t be taken too seriously and is definitely not for all occasions, but dropped at the right moment, this atom-bomb will cause serve damage on dance- floor-ground.
