We welcome Pol_On, the project by Warsaw key player DJ Mike P and Katowice Academy Of Jazz graduate and respected Jazz musician Kacper Bogacz. After their successful first release on Channels Records, the two chaps present their newest wax on Outils. The musical spectrum they feature is wide, but always digs in the past.

After The Party demonstrates Pol_On’s musical talent best. A smooth and timeless House-cut with excellently played live instruments. Very touching and universal applicable. Once your heard the sax, it will stay in your head for ages…

Omorp is a perfect floor tool. Kicking drums, hypnotic percussion work plus a brilliantly pushing break, it keeps the dancefloor moving and provides hands in the air.

The Pol_On mentors from Catz n Dogz are giving the already excellent Omorp one of their legendary remix treatments, which brings the tune directly into the primetime on every house-flavored floor.

Chorosc Jesienna is a smoothly flowing deep house track. Perfect for warm-up sessions. This tune will be featured Beatport-only.

Tedd Patterson is what you can call a veteran in electronic music. Being a DJ for almost 30 years now, playing alongside such legends as Louie Vega, Frankie Knuckles and Francois K and releasing and remixing on labels like Defected, Wave Music and Rekids, makes him a perfect match for the Connaisseur family.

He has had a residency at the New York’s premier venue Cielo since 2003 and has became renowned for a signature sound that incorporates an intoxicating blend of contemporary and classic house music.

Upon listening to his demo tracks, our first association was:” Hey, this sounds like a up-to-date version of an old Persuader or G-Man track!” making us sign them for our Supérieur sub-imprint immediately. Both Hubble versions (original and the Hubba Hubba Dub) are ultra deep, dry pieces of pumping club music, something between house and techno.

The brothers are back and present their latest wax on Connaisseur, and, as we think, the best they have ever made. Three true Plasmik cuts, timeless grooves between deep house and techno with a strong US american twist. Real Connaisseur music.

Night Bell is a rather trippin track, dominated by a psychic wobbling bell theme. Its oldschool feel becomes intensified by a subtle, almost disco like melody, which creeps up like fog, unexpected and appearing from nowhere.

Sneaky Dee is not only one of Marcel’s favorite bars he visited regularly while he lived in Toronto, it is also a brilliant deep house tune with a slightly techy touch and a sticky theme.

Red Tension is a pure beauty. Acoustic instruments appear sporadically and guide you through a wonderfully laidback sound universe. Definitely the track with the strongest musical approach.

It’s a family affair!!
What you are holding in your hands is the first part of a new series on Connaisseur called “Alex Flitsch meets…” where label head Alex Flitsch teams up with various friends from the label family and its surroundings.

The inspiration for the first part was several trips to Barcelona, where Alex and the Audiofly boys, Ant and Luca spent time working on their music vision whilst enjoying a laugh and delicious food. The result is Alex first release since ages and will definitely bring the newly minted Cocoon Club-resident to another level of attention.

The two tracks are state of the art house and combine Alex long lasting DJ experience with the extraordinary studio skills of Audiofly.

Long Way To Go is a peaktime-orientated monster of a house track. The idea was to reinterpret classic filter house sounds into modern form.

Conversation is a real gem with its deep dubby groove and the strongly nineties influenced sound aesthetic.

The release will be completed with a wonderful remix treatment for Long Way To Go by Romanian newcomer Ali Nasser.

More cooperations with other well-known friends and members of the Connaisseur family are in pipeline, so better watch out!
