Our friendly in-house mutants Timo Maas and Santos are ready for their second strike on Connaisseur with their project Mutant Clan. Kenesai, their first contribution on Connaisseur on the split-EP “A Lesson In Drums” together with Pele’s “Viva Belize” last summer, was one of our most successful tracks in 2008. With Mutanism they present two tracks, epic monsters, musical mutants between different genres, however, both with a touch of Detroit in its most modern form.

Perfect Place is a marathoner of a tune with an Olympic length of over 12min. A track for those special and desirable moments in the club we are all seeking. Its dubby and chordish sound design makes it to an all-purpose choice, both for house and techno DJs. Works as a peaktime tune for those who know as well as being perfect for all sunset settings around the world.

Parallel World presents the delightful fusion of excellent percussion work and splendid Jazz interludes. Its permanently rising imperativeness will cause dance attacks in the funkiest way. This tracks waits wistfully for the open-air season, like a child waiting for Christmas Day.
